Athletes and Active People

Our specialty is active people.  We say “active people” instead of athlete because you don’t have to be a competitive athlete for us to help you.  Of course, working with the professional athletes ensures that we are on top of our game, with up to date treatment options and science.  But, part of being in the Austin community is offering the services used by the best of the best to regular everyday people.  Whether you consider yourself an athlete or just an active participant in life, you will find useful information about your health and/or your specific activity on our site.

Because our office is located in Austin, Texas, most of our patients are in this area.   However, we have treated many athletes from all over the state, the country and even some from Canada and Mexico.  Many athletes spend their off season in Austin, or live and train here, while others visit us for pre and post-competition treatments when they are competing in the Austin area.   We have been known to travel out of state with some athletes to provide on-call treatment.   The next time you are in Austin and you need chiropractic, active release treatment, or massage – give us a call. At Performance Therapy Group we treat a wide variety of patients and we offer numerous services, which include – chiropractic, active release technique, flexibility/stretching, strengthening exercises, nutrition counseling, rehabilitation exercises, sports massage, deep tissue massage, and relaxation massage.   This large amount of services allows us to offer you exactly what you need instead of only what we offer.  We also maintain relationships with acupuncturists, radiologists, and surgeons, so if we don’t offer what you need, we can get you to someone we like who does.
