Amy Acuff is licensed as an acupuncturist by the state of Texas (License #818). Her training included three and a half years at the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin where she learned Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is NCCAOM certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbs. As a four-time United States Olympic Track and Field athlete in the high jump, she also has an extensive background in sports injuries.
Amy’s Practice Philosophy
I feel that I can provide a unique acupuncture experience utilizing an extensive Traditional Chinese Medicine education, while drawing upon the strengths of my unique knowledge base as an elite athlete after having been exposed to a variety of functional wellness ideas from international practitioners in a variety of modalities.
